Two major contracts awarded for the German BOXER fleet
Two major contracts have been signed for the BOXER Programme on behalf of the German customer within one week.
The first, on 22 February 2017, was the 8th amendment to the BOXER Series Production Contract and was signed by OCCAR-EA Director Tim Rowntree – his last for OCCAR. The main tasks covered by the contract amendment are an upgrade to new safety standards and changes on spare parts, loading lists and special tools.

On 28 February 2017, a second significant contract for the BOXER Programme was signed on behalf of the OCCAR-EA Director. This contract introduced a vehicle Driver Vision System (DVS) to negate existing blind spots for the German vehicles. With this contract the final development and serialisation of the Driver Vision System was contracted, including user and homologation trials.
