OCCAR-EA Director meets with Swedish National Armaments Director

Stockholm, 06 February 2024 - The OCCAR-EA Director, Mr. Joachim Sucker, met in the Swedish capital Stockholm with the Swedish National Armaments Director, Mr. Göran Mårtensson, and his delegation. Director Sucker explained that his visit is part of an information campaign requested by the Ministers of Defence of the six OCCAR Member States to approach possible European partners to sign agreements with OCCAR. 

He added that currently OCCAR is already cooperating with Sweden and that he hopes that this cooperation can go a step further in the future by signing a Framework and Security Agreement. 

The Swedish NAD, Mr. Göran Mårtensson was happy to welcome the OCCAR-EA Director Mr. Joachim Sucker to Stockholm. Mr Mårtensson added, that the information shared at the meeting was much appreciated in light of the possible deepening of the cooperation between Sweden and OCCAR.
