Airbus has formally delivered the second of eight Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft ordered by the NATO Multinational MRTT Fleet (MMF).
The delivery of the second MMF aircraft marks a further key milestone of the MMF Acquisition Contract managed by OCCAR. OCCAR is proud to deliver this second aircraft to the customer. Key points for this success were the trust of the MMF Nations in the ability of NSPA and OCCAR to manage efficiently the Programme and the willingness to succeed of the MMF team.

The acceptance process for the second MMF aircraft started the beginning of July and was performed following strict H&S measures to minimise COVID-19 exposure, which required special efforts from everyone. Due to the COVID-19 circumstances, OCCAR decided, in consideration with Airbus DS, to accept the aircraft remotely, by exchanging the required documents.
