PPA 2 Final Sea Trial & Final Official Acceptance Review

On 21 October 2022, OCCAR-EA Director Matteo Bisceglia attended PPA2 Francesco Morosini Sea Trials and the Final Official Acceptance Review (FOAR). Sea Trials and FOAR are preliminary activities required prior to the delivery of PPA2, scheduled for Saturday 22 October.

Mr Pierroberto Folgiero, Fincantieri CEO, Mr Dario Deste, President of Fincantieri Marine Group, and NAVARM Director Vice Admiral Massimo Guma were in attendance.

All the attendees could appreciate the quality and the technological advancement of the second Multipurpose Patrol Ship, which is shortly due to be integrated in the Italian Navy Fleet.
