OCCAR-EA Director visits Airbus Helicopters España

Following the recent Tiger MKIII Contract award, on 28 March 2022, OCCAR-EA Director Matteo BISCEGLIA, accompanied by the French and Spanish representatives, visited Airbus Helicopters España (AHE) in Albacete, Spain. He was welcomed by the Managing Director, Mr Fernando LOMBO.

During the visit, the Managing Director and Mr Jorge Domecq, Head of Political Affairs-Spain for Airbus Group, illustrated the main activities led by AHE and presented the OCCAR-EA Director with an overview on current and future programmes.

The visit included a tour of the AHE Assembly Line, and the Maintenance, Repairs and Overhaul facilities. AHE will play a key role in the Tiger MKIII helicopter MLU, notably as unique Final Assembly Line for all the helicopter variants.
