OCCAR Director meets Spanish Armaments Director

Madrid 14 Sept, 2023 - OCCAR-EA Director Mr. Joachim Sucker met with the ES Armament Director, Admiral Aniceto Rosique Nieto as well with the recently newly appointed ES OCCAR Board of Supervisors (BoS) Representative Rear Admiral José Antonio Toro Fernández . Also present at the meeting was the ES Deputy NAD Major General (SPAF) José Antonio Gutiérez Sevilla.

The meeting provided an important opportunity for all parties to exchange views on the central role of OCCAR in European armament cooperation and continue to foster the excellent cooperation with the ES MoD. The promising future of this close partnership can be also witnessed first-hand during the integration of the soon to be established HYDEF programme under ES leadership with new OCCAR offices established in the Spanish capital.
