NSPA - OCCAR-EA Director bilateral meeting in Capellen, Luxemburg

On 06 December 2021, the NSPA General Manager received the OCCAR-EA Director for the biannual bilateral meeting in Capellen, Luxemburg. Both parties shared the same view that the best way to avoid duplication and to obtain best value for money in the defence capability development arena is cooperation between the international organisations they lead and not competition. Both OCCAR and NSPA have specific strengths which should be exploited in a complementary way to ensure that the programmes of the participating states are managed in the most effective and cost-efficient way. The Director and General Manager agreed to further investigate future cooperation opportunities and where possible to widen the scope of the current framework documents.
