Following the recent successful conclusion to Global Rebaselining of the A400M Programme, another significant milestone was achieved, on 28 June, with the signature of the Global Support Step 2 contract between OCCAR-EA, on behalf of the A400M Participating States, and AMSL.
 

The A400M Partner Nations have agreed a cost neutral arrangement with Airbus that will stabilize and re-baseline the main A400M Development & Production Programme contract.

On the 16th of November 2016 OCCAR signed the Aircraft Transfer of Title (ToT) for MSN44 (Manufacturer Serial Number 44) signifying the 1st A400M delivery for Spain, out of a total fleet of 27 Aircraft, and the achievement of Spanish Entry Into Service (EIS). 

The contract to proceed with Stages 2 and 3 of the Maritime Mine Counter Measure (MMCM) Programme has been jointly announced, on 20 October, at EURONAVAL by the United Kingdom (UK) Defence Procurement Minister, Harriet Baldwin and for France by the Head of the defence procurement office (Direction Générale de l'Armement), Laurent Collet-Billon.
