From 10 to 12 October 2017, the French MoD/DGA and the French Army/STAT conducted a Live Firing Trial for testing a prototype version of the next COBRA (Data) System Software Version V23 to be delivered end of 2018.

Italian Ship (ITS) Rizzo, the 6th Italian FREMM frigate, took part in the exercise Formidable Shield 2017, held in the North Sea next to Scotland from late September until mid-October.
