An SLA was signed between OCCAR and the NSPA already in 2014 to benefit from NSPA’s logistic support capabilities in accordance with the Aerospace and Defense Specification 2000M (ASD S2000M). 

The fourth amendment recently signed NSPA provides an extension of the services for another 3 years (2019-2021).

On 10th October 2018, the Contract Amendment nr. 2 for the PPA Programme has been signed by the Industry Temporary Consortium (Fincantieri and Leonardo) and OCCAR-EA on behalf of Italyin the frame of the 29th FREMM Programme Committee, in Rome .

On 10th October 2018, in the frame of the 29th FREMM Programme Committee, in Rome,the Contract Amendment Nr. 19 for the FREMM Programme was signed by Orizzonte Sistemi Navali/Naval Group as Prime Contractors and OCCAR-EA on behalf of Italy and France.

In February the Slovenian MoD announced on its homepage that they had chosen BOXER as the base vehicle to form two new mechanised infantry battlegroups. Slovenia joining OCCAR by becoming the fourth Participating State in the BOXER Programme will eventually be a reality soon.
