The Italian FREMM frigate Martinengo carried out successfully the fourth ASTER 30 firing of the FREMM Programme on 04 March at 13:48. The firing took place at the PISQ, the Italian Joint Firing Range, facility located in Easter Sardinia.

On January 25th 2020 took place the launching ceremony of the Italian FREMM Emilio Bianchi at the FINCANTIERI integrated shipyard in Riva Trigoso.

The Critical Design Review (CDR) of the ESSOR OC1 HDRWF was achieved in Rome on 18 December 2019.

On 13 November 2013, the FREMM First of Class General Purpose (FOC GP) frigate Carlo Bergamini joined the logistic support ship Etna, the patrol boat Borsini and the aircraft carrier Cavour in the 30th Italian Naval Group
