On the 27th February 2014 in La Spezia shipyard, the third Italian frigate, named after the World War II Italian hero “Carlo Margottini”, was delivered by OCCAR to the Italian Navy.
OCCAR-EA signed a 4-year A400M Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the NSPA (NATO Support Agency) on 21 February 2014, marking a further key milestone in the expanded cooperation with NSPA.
On the 18th of February 2014, OCCAR Director Tim Rowntree went to the DCNS Lorient shipyard where the French Navy’s FREMM multi-mission frigates are assembled.
