On 21 November 2014 at the NATO Support Agency (NSPA) in Capellen/Luxembourg, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the NATO Support Organisation and the Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) to launch the Acquisition Phase of the Multinational Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) Fleet (MMF) under the lead of the Netherlands. 

The first Airbus A400M new generation airlifter ordered by the Royal Air Force has been delivered by OCCAR-EA to the UK on Monday 17th November, marking a key milestone for the A400M Programme.

The ceremony for the delivery of the Battle Flag to frigate “Virginio Fasan” took place on the 5th November 2014 in the wonderful environment of Piazza Unità d’Italia in Trieste.

On 25 June 2014, the Italian FREMM frigate “Carabiniere” had her first sea going, successfully reaching this important milestone three months earlier than her predecessor the “Carlo Margottini”.
