On 19 March 2021, the DGA (Direction Générale de l’Armement) of the French Ministry for Armed Forces organised a Parisian forum with OCCAR to present the organisation and its various activities to French staff likely to be interested in OCCAR’s activities or willing to work in a close future within OCCAR. OCCAR-EA’s Director Matteo Bisceglia opened this forum with the French OCCAR’s Supervision Mission of the French Ministry of Armed Forces.

On 19^th March 2021, the Director of the OCCAR Executive Administration (Organisation Conjointe de Coopération en matière d'ARmement), the organisation for the management of armament programmes in Europe, Matteo Bisceglia, and the Managing Director of Eurosam, Eva Bruxmeier, signed in Paris the contract for the development of the French-Italian next generation of ground to air medium range defence system SAMP/T NG (Sol Air Moyenne Portée Terrestre Nouvelle Génération). The contract was signed on behalf of the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) for France and SEGREDIFESA for Italy.
