The Italian Air Force Chief of Staff visited OCCAR in Bonn

On Tuesday 15 November, the Italian Air Force Chief of Staff General Luca Goretti visited OCCAR-EA Central Office premises in Bonn, Germany. He was accompanied by the Italian Defence Attaché to Germany, BGen Paolo Tarantino. 

OCCAR-EA Director Matteo Bisceglia and OCCAR-EA senior staff provided the Generals with an overview of OCCAR capabilities, business model and its relationship with other international organisations. They were also presented with an outline of the programmes currently managed by OCCAR and future ventures amongst OCCAR, Member States and Participating States. The Heads of Division and the Internal Audit Office presented more details on the corporate government of OCCAR-EA.

The meeting was highly successful, it was a further demonstration of Italy’s commitment towards cooperative armament programmes and a possible increased level of cooperation with OCCAR in Air Force programmes.
