On 05 September 2022, the OCCAR-EA Director was interviewed by Behoerden Spiegel reporter Dorothee Frank. The interview focused on OCCAR’s organisation, business model and the Director’s view on the future of OCCAR. The Director stressed the importance of cooperation at all levels in order for OCCAR to be able to deliver more capabilities to Nations for less cost. He emphasized again how meaningful OCCAR can be to further develop an independent European defence.
