Paris 11-12 Sept, 2024 - MBDA engineers,
missile defence experts from HYDIS contributing Nations (DE, FR, IT and NL) and
OCCAR representatives met for the third of a series of a total of four
workshops to further explore and discuss relevant technical and operational
aspects, decisive for achieving the first HYDIS Programme milestone: the Solution
Space Review (SSR).
Specifically, during two demanding but productive days, Industry and
Nations addressed key integration and interoperability requirements crucial for
the development of the future European missile interception capability. Integration
with the current and upcoming naval and ground launch platforms, radar sensor network,
and the future European space-based tracking capability, was the primary focus
of the consultations.
HYDIS Participating States also achieved agreement and convergence on the
naval and ground based operational scenario definitions.
