U212 NFS 3rd Technology Workshop Successfully Concluded

Tavarnelle, Italy 2 October 2024 – The third Near Future Submarine (NFS) Technology Workshop was held at Carbon Dream's facilities in Tavarnelle, Firenze.
The event offered great networking and growth opportunities to 45 companies involved in underwater technology, many of which are already part of the OCCAR U212 NFS Programme. Several foreign military representatives were also in attendance.

This year, the workshop introduced a new platform that improved the access for industry leaders to meet directly with defense representatives from different countries. Attendees had the rare chance to meet face-to-face with defense attachés, discuss possible cooperation, and expand their international networks.

The event created a special environment aimed at encouraging helpful discussions and building lasting partnerships. Participants learned valuable insights about the latest trends and innovations in the underwater sector from international experts and top professionals. The well-planned Government-to-Business (G2B) and Business-to-Business (B2B) sessions ensured effective and focused meetings, matching the specific interests of each company.
