New OCCAR Rome Site opening

On 4 November 2020, only four months after the Director’s decision to move the Rome site to a new location across from Tiburtina Leonardo Company factory, the removal successfully completed. The removal was performed within budget and without any impact on business continuity. The new site will also be able to shortly host the expected set up of the new NFS PD in OCCAR, sharing common assets and providing economies of scale. In the presence of Mr. Matteo Bisceglia (OCCAR-EA Director), the Vice Admiral Massimo Guma (Italian Programme Committee Representative) and Eng. Giuseppe Giordo and Eng. Marco De Fazio (FINCANTIERI and LEONARDO Company), the formal inauguration of the new premises occurred on 26 November 2020.
