Negotiations on EDA-OCCAR Administrative arrangement

OCCAR and the European Defence Agency will start negociations on an Administrative Arrangement to formalise the cooperative relationship between the two organisations.

In November 2008, the General Affaires and External Relations Council adopted a politial Declaration on the OCCAR-EDA cooperation. The 2 April 09, the EDA Steering Board has approuved the mandate of the Head of the Agency, Javier Solana, to open negotiations with OCCAR. These negatiations will be pursued to lead to the signature of the agreed Arrangement in the current of November 2009.
