This is a very important step in the certification process for the Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet (MMF). All participating MMF nations (Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Norway) are now hoping together with MMF OCCAR Program Division and AIRBUS DS to take the next step, namely to see the Technical Certificate from the Spanish National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA).

MMF Obtains Important Supplemental Type Certificate
On 17th September, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has granted to the prime contractor AIRBUS DS in Spain the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the A330 MMF aircraft.
