Meeting with the Italian Military Representative to NATO

On  08 November 2022, the Director welcomed Vice-Admiral Giacomin, the Italian Military Representative to NATO and EU Military Committees, at the OCCAR-EA premises in Bonn. The Vice-Admiral was accompanied by generals Lunardi and Nitti and other Italian NATO representatives. The delegation received a presentation of the OCCAR organisation, business model and portfolio and showed particular attention to initiatives such as EDIRPA and possible ways of cooperation between NATO and OCCAR. The delegation appreciated the possible role OCCAR can play in developing a solid and robust European defence.
