Fostering the close cooperation with Lithuania

On 29 March 2023, the OCCAR-EA Director, Mr Joachim Sucker, visited the Lithuanian Vice Minister of National Defence, Ms Greta Monika Tučkutė, in Vilnius.

In this first meeting between both, who started their tenure at the same time in February 2023, the Vice Minister and the Director had a fruitful exchange of thoughts on the importance of multinational cooperation in the defence procurement sector.

This meeting emphasizes the strong will of both parties to foster the continuous close cooperation between OCCAR-EA and Lithuania within the Boxer Programme and to provide the Lithuanian Defence as well as its Partners with state-of-the-art military equipment to strengthen Europe’s Security as a whole.
