European MALE RPAS Stage 2 offer submitted
The future prime contractor for the European MALE RPAS Stage 2 contract, Airbus Defence & Space GmbH, submitted the offer for the envisaged global contract covering development and production including initial in-service support to the MALE RPAS Programme Division in Hallbergmoos on 29 May 2019. For this offer submission the future prime contractor has been supported by Airbus Defence & Space S.A.U., Dassault Aviation SA and Leonardo s.p.a. as major subcontractors.
Airbus Defence & Space GmbH, Dassault Aviation SA and Leonardo s.p.a. have acted as Co-Contracting Group (CCG) to deliver the Stage 1 System Requirements Review (SRR) and System Preliminary Design Review (SPDR) during 2018. Today’s received offer has a value of several billion euros and replies to the invitation to tender (ITT) provided to industry in parallel to the Definition Study by end October 2018.

From now on, OCCAR-EA will assess the offer on completeness & compliance to the ITT requirements and enter, after PPSs approval, into contract negotiation.
