The Director hosted the yearly former Directors’ meeting

On 19 November 2021, the Director hosted the yearly former Directors’ meeting, which had been postponed last year due to the pandemic. The Director expressed his appreciation for the fact that everybody did his utmost to attend the meeting despite the difficult times. He highlighted the fact that the feedback of the former Directors on the achievements of OCCAR and the way-ahead is very valuable to him to strengthen his belief that the current approach towards the future of OCCAR is the right one. All agreed that the Director’s appeal for cooperation amongst Nations, Industry and International Organisations is the proper way to try to foster the EDTIB and to obtain the necessary capabilities to ensure European autonomy in Defence and Security.
