Additional MMF Aircraft Signature

On 25 September, after six months of preparation, the OCCAR-EA Director, Matteo Bisceglia and Airbus Defence and Space representatives, Mr Didier Plantecoste and Mr Hervé Daumas signed MMF Contract Amendment 10 (CA-10).

This Contract Amendment extends the MMF-Fleet with another Aircraft. By exercising a Contract Option, the MMF Fleets will consist of nine Aircraft, for use by the six MMF Nations.

Amongst others, this Contract Amendment also includes the following new capabilities:

• Certification of a Boomless Configuration;
• Inclusion of a Aircraft On Ground (AOG) Process; 
• On-site Operational Engineering Support at the Main Operating Base (MOB).

Due to the COVID-19 circumstances, the Amendment has come into force upon exchange of signature pages.
