3rd OCCAR Board of Managers of 2023 visits 15th Air Transport Wing in Melsbroek

Brussels, November - The third OCCAR-EA Board of Managers (BoM) of 2023 took place in Brussels, Belgium on 8-9 November, 2023.  Once again, the meeting gave the opportunity to discuss topics relevant to the Organisation with the participation of the Director, Programme Managers, Heads of Division, and representatives from Central Office.

Following the conclusion of the BoM, a visit to the 15 Wing Air Transport at Melsbroek was organised. The Base Commander, Colonel Bruno Beeckmans, welcomed the OCCAR delegation and gave a presentation on the roles and responsibilities of the Wing. Following the briefing the A400M maintenance hangar was visited as well as the local Dakota museum that shows the history of the transport wing since the second World War.
