The TIGER of the future is sharpening its claws: On 31 July 2015, OCCAR has signed on behalf of France, Germany and Spain a contract with Airbus Helicopters TIGER for an Architecture Study with the aim to define the so-called “Tiger Mk3”

The 8th Italian FREMM ship was laid down on the 12th July 2015 at the Riva Trigoso shipyard.

On Tuesday 19th May 2015, the first Naval Cruise Missile (Missile de Croisière Naval - MdCN) firing was successfully performed by the French FREMM Aquitaine frigate at Le Levant Island in the Mediterranean Sea

The Italian FREMM frigate “Alpino” had its first sea going in the Gulf of La Spezia on 5th of May 2015, just 10 months after the “Carabiniere”.
