On - 18th of October 2017, the fifth of class French - ASM (Anti-Submarine Warfare) FREMM multi-mission frigate “Bretagne” has successfully completed first sea trials in Lorient.

The OCCAR Director, Arturo Alfonso Meiriño and Gerben Edelijn, CEO of Thales Netherlands, have signed today, 2nd November, in Bonn, the Long Range Radar In Service Support contract for the FSAF PAAMS Programme. 

The OCCAR Director, Arturo Alfonso Meiriño and the a4ESSOR SaS president, Lino Lagana signed today, 2 November, in Bonn the contract for ESSOR Operational Capability 1. 

The Italian FREMM frigate “Federico Martinengo” had its first sea going in the Gulf of La Spezia on 18th July 2017. It is the 7th Italian FREMM frigate, and the third in General Purpose configuration; the remaining three ships are under construction.
