April 2018 UK return to the BOXER Programme The UK will re-join the BOXER Programme with the intention to equip the Army with the 8x8 BOXER vehicles to modernise its vehicle's fleet and to fulfil the requirements of the Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) Programme. 25. June 2014 Formal handover of first Netherlands BOXER vehicle to the customer The Medical Company of the 13th NL Brigade formally received the first NL BOXER armoured vehicle, an Ambulance version, on 25 June 2014. 04. April 2014 Start of The Netherlands’ Ambulance BOXER delivery On 7 April 2014, the OCCAR-EA BOXER Programme Manager released the delivery of the first Netherlands’ Ambulance (NL AMB) BOXER. The NL AMB is part of the fleet of 472 BOXER vehicles in total to be delivered.
