Signature of the UK ISS MMCM/003 contract

On the 31st January 2022, under challenging timescales the OCCAR-EA Director, with the excellent support of the entire OCCAR team, and the UK MOD, signed a significant contract namely MMCM/003 - UK Support Service.

This contract provides worldwide in-service support to the 3 UK MMCM Primary Systems (including demonstrator system) upon individual system delivery, for a duration of three years with the option to extend for an additional 2 years. This direct contract with Thales UK was deemed the most efficient, value for money and meets all the customer’s requirements in terms of performance, availability and reliability.

Once again this demonstrates that OCCAR and its stakeholders can pull together to deliver to the highest standard.
